Would you say Girls Aloud are good role models?
Kelly H asked:
I think they are but some might say the prance about wearing sky-high killer stilleto heels and loads of make up and are super skinny.

Yes and no. They don’t go around taking their clothes off in every lad’s mag unlike a lot of girls these days. They are still nice, down to earth girls despite fame and money. They have gone from winning a TV talent show to being loved by just about everyone. Even NME, the Observer and Coldplay are praising them. None of them are druggies or alcoholics like half the celebrities in this country. A couple of them were at university before GA so they have brains.
On the other hand, all of them (except Kimberly) are far too thin and it isn’t their ‘metabolism’, they weren’t like that a few years ago, I don’t think that’s a great message for young impressionable fans.

I agree with Ela B, except for “they weren’t like that a few years ago” – when you look back, Nicola and Nadine were 17 when they´re started in the band and you change a lot from 17 to 23. Nicola, Nadine and Sarah were always slim/skinny. Yeah, Cheryl lost weight but I guess that´s because she had such a hard time with that cheating prick, then tour with band (all night dancing) and X Factor.
